white rabbits “the lady vanishes” from it’s frightening, 2009

i’m listening to the new white rabbits album and i’m not sure how i feel about it yet, because it’s really unlike what i’m used to from them, especially in terms of how upfront the bass is. the best part about it so far is the absolutely nuts guitar and piano tone and distortion. people don’t really give alex even enough credit for the truly insane shit he’s been doing with his guitar on a regular basis over the course of this band’s three albums.
